Why not nominate someone for our 2010 awards?

Good neighbours are worth their weight in gold and we know how much some of you value yours.

Last year, Rykneld Homes launched our Good Neighbour Awards and were touched by the fantastic stories tenants shared about how neighbours made a difference to their lives.

All our winners were praised for a variety of reasons including everything from being someone to talk to, taking and fetching people's shopping or moving wheelie bins.

For our 2010 awards we would love to hear from you and the special stories you have about those neighbours who go the extra mile to help.

• Do they help with your garden or shopping?
• Are they there when you need someone to talk to?
• Have they helped out in a crisis or are they always there as a shoulder to lean on?

The winners will receive a special gift and will be featured in a future edition of our Homing In magazine.  Su Gomer, Chief Executive of Rykneld Homes said, "Good neighbours are the unsing heroes of our local communities.  They are the people who are willing to go the extra mile to help others.  We want to celebrate their kindness and our Good Neighbour Awards are a great opportunity to do that".
