By law you must give us four weeks written notification that you intend to end your tenancy.  The notice will start from the Monday after we receive your completed and signed form.  You can obtain the Termination Form from any of our Local Area Offices or One Stop Shops or you can print it and return it to:

or alternatively you can drop it into any of our Local Area Offices, One Stop Shops or the Council House at Saltergate.

You must give us access to inspect the property during the notice period.

You must leave the property, the fixtures and any furnishings provided in a good condition.  Do not leave any of your belongings behind otherwise we may dispose of them and charge you for doing this.  This also includes belongings in your garden, garage, shed or any other outbuilding.  Do not leave rubbish in any communal area.

Monthly Prize Draws

Rykneld Homes has introduced a monthly prize draw of £100 in shopping vouchers for tenants who terminate their tenancy and leave their property with a clear rent account and in a good condition.  Another prize draw for £100 in shopping vouchers for tenants who allow access on the first visit for the pre-termination visits whilst the property is under notice has also been introduced.
