As part of the Duke of Edinburgh award training that we are currently providing for our young Community Improvers they have now become qualified in basic life support first aid.
We booked the Basic Life Support First Aid training before we take the group on a camping trip in Ashbourne to train them in camping skills. This will involve the group being able to use cooking and camping skills in combination with the other training we have provided them.
One of our Community Involvement Officers’, Jason Sadler, said "We are extremely proud that our Community Improvers are all now qualified in basic life support. This will enable them to be well prepared for the upcoming camping trip."
