Throughout 2018 and 2019 the award-winning Rykneld Homes Community Involvement Team (CIT) have worked with over 50 community groups in North East Derbyshire, as well as over 30 different partner agencies.
We have also initiated many service improvements through our dedicated and customer-led Service Improvement Groups. The team have also established and managed a multitude of projects in association with our partners.
The CIT have actively engaged with over 2,000 individual participants across the North East Derbyshire District. The CIT aims to increase well-being of residents across the district. This means enhancing the lives of young people, families, and older people. The team also aim to tackle local unemployment through our volunteering programme.
The team is also committed to improving the local environment, both in terms of the cleanliness of estates and supporting endangered local wildlife.
The Community Involvement Annual Report 2019/19 details the key projects that the team have worked on over the past year, as well as sets out how the project was developed, what work was involved and the impact that was made on both individuals and the wider community.
