Please be aware we are experiencing high call volumes to our contact centre as a result of problems caused by flooding. We are prioritising our services to support the vulnerable and emergency cases and ask you to bear with us over the next few days. If your call is not an emergency you can contact us through our website by using our Contact Us online form or email us at contactus@rykneldhomes.org.uk.
We have experienced localised flooding in some properties close to water courses and sandbags have been issued to customers where water has entered the property.
Despite the severe weather and difficult travelling conditions our staff have been delivering services and finding alternative routes when roads have been blocked or closed.
The problems caused by flooding across the district are expected to last for several days until the high water volumes drain away.
We will update information about any changes to our services on our website or through our Twitter and Facebook pages.
There are many road closures in place throughout Derbyshire following the flooding. Information regarding road closures within the Derbyshire district can be found below from Derbyshire Constabulary. The information is also updated on the travel page of the Derbyshire County Council website.
To find out the flood warnings that are currently in place, please visit the Environment Agency website.
