Following the success and popularity of the other Kurling Tournaments, we supported another tournament in Killamarsh!
The tournament took place in Killamarsh Sports Centre on Tuesday 20th November 2018 and was attended by teams from right across the district!
Kurling enthusiasts gathered together in Killamarsh for the latest tournament organised by local teams from North East Derbyshire.
The winners of the tournament were Killamarsh Team 1! The team received medals and the coveted kurling trophy!
'Kurling' is just like the winter sport curling, but without the ice! It can be played by people of all ages and abilities on practically any indoor floor surface.
It's a very social sport and the rules are very simple and it's easy to play while standing or seated. A special pushing stick and ramp was available for people with disabilities or mobility issues.
