Killamarsh Together is a free event which was open to all residents of the North East Derbyshire District who would like to engage with health and well-being service providers.
This year's event took place on Thursday 3rd October between 10am - 12:30pm at Killamarsh Parish Suite and Pump Bar, Stanley Street, Killamarsh.
Our Community Involvement Team and Housing and Support Officers for the Killamarsh area went along to provide advice and information on the services we provide, and how customers can get involved in helping to suggest ways we can improve our services for them.
We took along our Community Wish Tree for people attending the event to write on a leaf and leave a wish that they wanted to see happen in their local area. We provided information on our involvement opportunities such as our new Digital Involvement Group.
There was lots of other free advice available from other organisations including; Adult Care services, deaf and hearing support, families and children's services, local voluntary groups and activities, benefits, debt, drug and alcohol recovery, employment, further education, volunteering, scams, stopping smoking, weight management, homelessness, mental health and much more!
There were also complimentary relaxation therapies, refreshments, home made cakes, fruit, small giveaways, and a free raffle for every attendee.
