We were delighted to welcome the High Sheriff of Derbyshire, William Burlington, to our Rykneld Homes offices on 24 January 2020.
The High Sheriff, accompanied by Council Leader Cllr Martin Thacker, met with staff to find out about the wide-range of services and activities provided by Rykneld Homes.

We are proud of our achievements and his visit was a great opportunity to showcase some of our key projects and outline our future plans for tenant and resident services in North East Derbyshire. We were able to show how strong partnership working between Rykneld Homes and North East Derbyshire District Council benefits our local communities”
Our staff were proud to tell the High Sheriff about some of their successes including the Customer Services Team achieving the Customer Service Excellence accreditation and being named Customer Service Provider of the Year. Our Community Involvement Team talked about projects across the district and work with our Community Improvers and young people within the district. The HR team spoke passionately about their introduction of Mental Health First Aiders in the workplace and the support for schools and apprenticeships in the local area.
