We were pleased to accept a cheque for £3,000 from the Derbyshire Police and Crime Commissioner, Hardyal Dhindsa's Vulnerability Fund.
This new funding expands the support available for vulnerable people and their families.
We were one of 27 organisations receiving grants of between £1,001 and £25,000 to prevent crime, bring communities together and protect young people from engaging in risky behaviour that could lead to harm.
At the centre of the Police and Crime Commissioner’s Vulnerability Fund is a belief many crimes are preventable if the right funding is invested in the right place to help people overcome problems, learn new skills and increase their confidence.
The funding will be used to support the 2021 Summer Programme in North East Derbyshire.
