A £750,000 scheme to improve a flats complex in Dronfield has now been completed, creating improved accommodation in an area of high demand.

The 70 flats at Hallowes Court were purchased in 2019 after the previous owners raised doubts about their long term future.

The upgrade has seen some of the flats re-modelled to offer customers more choice in terms of flat size and number of bedrooms. Other improvements include changes to the former sheltered housing block to include specialist accommodation to support residents with mobility problems.

A sprinkler system has been installed with funding from Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service. New level access to the building has also been created.
