We were set up in April 2007 as a non-profit making company – we do not pay any dividends to shareholders.
In 2014, Rykneld Homes became a Registered Provider of Social Housing and has growing portfolio of 140 properties including homes for rent and shared ownership developed and acquired across North East Derbyshire.
In 2025, NEDDC and Rykneld Homes achieved the highest possible regulatory C1 (Consumer Standard) judgement from the Regulator of Social Housing.
We are managed by a Board of Directors, made up of three Council-appointed members and three professional independent members. The Board is supported by the Senior Management Team who are paid professionals. They develop and implement policies and procedures, manage staff and deliver the services we promise.
