When you make a Right to Buy application, all non-essential repairs and improvement works to your home will be cancelled. We will still carry out essential structural or safety works.
If you accept any non-essential repairs or improvement works whilst your Right to Buy application is valid, you will be liable for the costs of the work.
You should take into account the cost of repairs and maintenance when considering Right to Buy. Visit our Financial Considerations page for more information.
If you decide to withdraw your Right to Buy application, you can report all repairs again as normal.
For more information or to request a Right to Buy information pack, you can contact the Home Ownership Officer by completing our online form, calling 01246 217670 or emailing to email@example.com.
