We were proud to support a local group in Danesmoor to secure support from one of our contractors, Sustainable Building Services (SBS).
SBS kindly donated £360 to the St Barnabas Community Centre in Danesmoor, which has enabled the group to purchase wood to fix broken planters in their community garden.
The planters have been adopted by various local groups who use the centre; including a volunteer led youth club, a children’s nursery, a mental health support group and a community kitchen.
There is one planter still available to a local group. If anyone is interested in taking responsibility for a raised bed in the community garden, please pop into the St Barnabas Centre.
