North East Derbyshire District Council (NEDDC) are launching their Residents’ Survey to understand what matters most to you and how they can make North East Derbyshire an even better place to live. Your feedback helps shape local services and community priorities.

Your feedback makes a difference
Thanks to previous surveys, these are just some of the improvements delivered:
- Upgraded leisure facilities – major investment and improvements at four local centres
- Inclusive SEN gymnastics courses at Killamarsh Active
- Healthy Activities & Food Programme – free meals and exercise sessions during school holidays
- Clay Cross Games & Summer Clubs – creating more opportunities for young people and families
- Walk Derbyshire volunteer-led walking groups – over 4,000 participants improving health and wellbeing
- Public Spaces Protection Order in Clay Cross – reducing antisocial behaviour and making public areas safer
- £1m secured for A61 junction improvements – supporting better transport connectivity.

The survey takes just 10–15 minutes and is open to everyone aged 16 and over and a resident of North East Derbyshire. As a thank you, you’ll be entered into a prize draw to win £100 in High Street Vouchers.
